They buy collections in bulk so while they are fair, it may not be the price you are looking for if you were to sell items individually. So are you willing to put in the extra time to list and sell pieces individually and get a little more money or is it not worth the hassle of dealing with the public. That’s the question you need to answer.
If you have access to sell them to another place, I would. In my experience Strasburg Train Shop in Lancaster County or Draude's Derailment in Lebanon County gave better deals for what I sold to them. Don't get me wrong, they're a great train shop but I felt like I got better money elsewhere.
