We normally just walk in and are fine ,out of the 10 times we have gone we simply walked in with no res never took more than 10 mins to be seated but definitely not a requirement..friday and sat night's it be smart to call in advance just to be safe especially if you are a party of 4+...
Yes you have to it's the end if the season it will get packed with large parties.
