The attention is different when you are Latino, they are not friendly. It seems you weren't a tourist too. You ask them about a dish and they answer you with total irony, while "gringo" or European tourists receive a thousand attentions.

Strange friend and I feel sorry for you, but I will tell you that the pub restaurant is a cozy place, very rich, familiar, and the attention I assure you is super, super for each and every one of the waiters and workers. They treat the same way to the tourist than to the local. I am a local and the pub among so many restaurants on Calle 8 Lither Havana is my favorite. Although in no place nobody is perfect and nothing is perfect I assure you I repeat as a client of the pub that you have a good time, well and the attention is magnificent... greetings and blessings 🙂🙏
