In theory you need a local address to join. But at Hallandale YMCA I know for sure they asking address just from your words. Maximum they can ask some letter with a local address and your name, like a bank latter or any. Then you came through the border you must gave local address. It's the same

Most south Florida YMCAs are part of the network that will get you in anywhere in the country. The Hollywood and Hallandale YMCAs are both that way. Where you live does not matter.
