No... there are no appointments. You walk in, go upstairs, get a number and wait to be called. Come with a driver's license and any other form of id. I paid for the expedited version (1 week) on a Monday and my passport was ready on Thursday. It was $200. My wait time was about 1.5 -2 hours not a big deal. Bring headphones and chill lol.
