You all have missed the point of the question. The person was asking how much they are allowed to make in order to still receive the food stamp benefits. Anyway, in answer to that question, it all depends on the number of people in your household as well as the amount of income that you have coming in. Obviously, for a larger household, you will be allowed to make a larger amount of money before your food stamp benefits are cut.
You don't "make" anything on foodstamps, they don't exist. However, SC uses a debit card for food only to those that qualify for food assistance, but it is based on your income or circumstances needed for government assistance. You can contact your local DSS in your city or county for more information when and where you can apply. Hope this helps !
In SC you can't get cash. You can, however get money to purchase food. How much is based on your income.
