You should call the humane society directly. I think they're coming up on their busy "cat" season just about now. They had an adoption event a couple of weeks ago where they waived the adoption fees to entice people to adopt so they could make room for new animals. I'm not sure how often, if ever, they check this site for messages so I really think your best option is to call and ask.

They are almost always slammed with cats and kittens. We actually foster for them and have 6 kittens and a momma living in our bathtub right now.. Definitely call them before just showing up. And do your due diligence and make every effort to find an adoptive home before you do. You can't possibly understand hiw stretched their resources are.
