They had no ability to hold something like that when I was there Labor Day. Maybe they would push like half of the seating they have out in their parking lot together, but it seems unlikely to me. They were all about the virtue signaling. Masks had to be worn outside while walking from the makeshift entrance to the makeshift sitting area. No onsite food either. (My response is misleading? Exactly which part of the guidelines require masks outside while social distancing? Why are your policies so much more invasive than any other brewery I've been to in NC? Which is probably at least a dozen)
Hi Angie, please call the brewery and ask for our taproom manager, Zack. Although it is a Friday, he will do his best to see if we can accommodate your request during this restricted time for our business. We hope we can make it happen for you- we appreciate your interest in celebrating your daughter at Flying Machine. To address a misleading response to your question, saying that we are "virtue signaling" during this pandemic when we are simply following governmental mandates and doing our best to keep our staff and customers safe and our business open is simply ridiculous. Also, as we are a brewery and do not have a kitchen, but we do work hard to schedule daily food trucks which are posted on our website and social media.
They don't sell food, but they frequently have food trucks that you could order from. They don't accept parties larger than 6 per table so y'all would have to split up but overall, it's totally doable. Its a very chill atmosphere.
