I specifically go to this salon because it is supposed to be curly friendly. I asked Laura to cut my hair shoulder length and she cut it wet like it is straight hair and now I have a bob. I didn’t realize what she was doing until half my hair was gone. Wavy hair needs to be cut like wavy hair, not straight hair. This is going to take months to grow out and fix. Will not be back.

I found Rockin Roller Salon years and years ago and fell in love with Rozy doing my hair. When she moved to California I was lost on how to find the quality of stylist that I had found in her. Every time she did my hair I walked out of there feeling like my best form of beautiful! She of course left me with recommendations of which stylist she was leaving her clients with but as with any loss, I wasn't ready to replace her and have bounced around from place to place since then. Last year, I had a pre mid life hair crisis and went for a trendy undercut. At first I liked my new hair but as time went on it was harder to get an appointment (in my small town of Southport) especially around the holidays for the required maintenance. So after months of not getting trims on my undercut, I choose to start growing it out. Anyone who has grown one out, knows that it's not easy. This month I searched for the right salon with the correct knowledge to take on my journey to get my hair back. I read all the bios and picked Krystle at Rockin Roller Salon to see about a plan of action. She listened to my concerns and looked at pictures of my hair straightened and natural and then what my inspiration was. Then we discussed my cut. When she was finished cutting my hair, it took a lot for me not to cry. It was perfect and the first time in years that I have walked put of a salon feeling beautiful. From now on, she is my girl! When you find someone who can hit all the marks you never let them go! Thank you Krystle! I'll see you next month!
