No venomous snakes in Columbus area unless someone releases an unwanted" pet" but they're unlikely to survive and even less likely to procreate due to the lack of mates

Yes, there are various species of birds and water fowl. Snakes are certainly a possibility, however no venomous or aggressive snakes are found within the park.

You will find geese along the way and even a few ducks. I'm sure you will find snakes closer to the river embankment, however no wildlife will interfere with your experience.
