husband purchased 2 bottles of liquor at a Sam’s in Louisiana Self check out-associate checked husband's I.D. (62 yrs, knew it would b checked). asked for mine/56yrs) Associate said new law had to check all ID's/even teenagers. Anyone heard this?

I work at sams and normally they only check depending on if u have a minor with u or u yourself look to young to purchase

Yes to insure you aren't buying liquor for others/minors. You have to be married or related.
