We didn't have them either, went on the weekend but it was late after the opry
Only during the dinner rush. However the place is huge and the tables turn pretty quick.....if you are on vacation why have a set schedule? Relax get there whenever slip to the bar and before long your table will be ready
We went early around 430-5pm and didn't need them but if you are going later I would definitely get reservations.
