Declawing is called par-digital amputation. It's not pleasant and not recommended. If you have your cat's nails trimmed monthly and provide him appropriate toys, you should not have a problem. Since that procedure is cruel, I should think not.
NO the animal welfare association said that they do not declaw any animals cat or other wise period
