They have to be 18 or older. But they have summer programs with parent supervision.
Our regular volunteer program requires 18 or older. However, we have a number of youth programs through our Humane Education program that give kids opportunities to volunteer at the shelter. Kids that complete the Teen Club program can graduate and become regular volunteers without parental supervision even if under 18.
