What are the new rules about expired drivers license? My daughter let her DL expire, not on purpose, she had a few broken bones and wasn't driving. It's been a little bit more than 2 yrs. Will she be able to just renew her driver's license?

The rules of the road have changed recently in Rhode Island, my recommendation is to either contact the DMV or look on line for the license changes

She must apply for the Instruction Permit by taking the computerized knowledge exam at the Cranston DMV headquarters and a road test.
