You need to bring in your old plates to swap them for your new plates. Fill out this form: http://www.dmv.ri.gov/feedback/ -- include your vehicle registration, make/model/year of the vehicle and the address on the registration. Our plate-room supervisor will contact you with that information.
Is there anyway I Can find out if my new wildlife plates are there before I make the trip to Cranston?
Yes.. & you can cancel existing plates online I guess and return them later..
