You may be able to renew your license online here: https://www.ri.gov/DMV/licenserenewal You can also renew your license by mail or by dropping off the application, along with the appropriate payment, at our office located at 600 New London Ave., Cranston. Visit www.dmv.ri.gov to find available reservation times. Walk-ins are not allowed.

Not sure I understand your question...however everything is by appointment. If it's just a renewal you can do it online, or go even to AAA. If it is anything more than just this, you'd have to go to dmv, only by appt
