I have been trying to transfer my plates since April. Now my sticker runs out in October. I have been trying just about non stop but the calendar is always full. Plus plate transfer won't come up when trying to get appt.

You'll want to choose "License/ID/Registration" and then "New Registration" when looking for an appointment slot. There are times available now at the end of November at the DMV's branch offices.

Appointments are posted Mondays 8am to 10am. Best bet to get one then!
