Yes, you can do that. You can download and fill out a TR-2/TR-9 form from our website, found here -- https://dmv.ri.gov/registrations-plates-titles/titles You'll add the other person as the secondary owner. You will have to make an appointment in one of our offices to submit this application. It's best to do that in our Cranston office as that is where our Title unit is located.
