I was told that because i got a ID that i would have to do everything all over again for my license that i had for years! Is this true ?

In that dnv , unlike any other i have been to , they make you jump through hoops to get what ever it is your going there for. If you had any other id , they would make you get paperwork about it stating you no longer have a different ID or License. It's really redicules and unnecessary. They would make you start all over again , especially if you already have one . But don't be discouraged. Keep going back and bring all paperwork, and comply untill you get what it is you went there for. Ive been there 6 times and i still was not able to get an ID . SO SAD.
