If you go close to sunset the fireflys come out in droves! Looks pretty amazing!
Very very beautiful nature trails even has a little Ravine that you can go into and go around and down and up it's well worth going out there and taking trails
My sons love hiking the trails through the park.. there are quite a few and so much to see..its a beautiful place to go whether you go for a day trip or stay and camp or rent one of their cabins ..etc for a week or more!! You definitely have to check it out!!

Beautiful 1 mile or 2 mile trails. Theres a small creek that runs down by beginning. Beautiful scenery 💞 Theres a park for grilling, gozebas surroundings a full play ground for kids 😄 clean bathrooms. Pinic tables around a lake you can swim, fish and rent a coneo. Cute little cabins and even more to accommodate more people. Rv park and camping. More trails on the back side around another lake. Have seen beautiful deer to a huge turtle walking by our cabin 😀 the cost their is minimum for the beautiful peaceful environment to enjoy. Employees are welcoming and helpful! We go time and time for the day to staying the weekend just to get away for a simple cherishable time with family 💕
Yes I went on two and it was beautiful and wasn't hard at all I went with 11 friends and family and it was still easy plus we had a dog with us
