I love this place! It's extremely family friendly, for all ages. My kids love the lake and the wood playground. The amount of picnic tables is crazy. Plenty of room for everybody to have their own birthday party at the same time.

Park Closes at dark 🌙 A couple miles down off hwy 100. Theres a road (cant remember the name) straight across from 214 and 100 that dead ends looking over the lakes 🌟 Always open ☺

The park has been there for quite a while. I don't see why they wouldn't allow metal detecting. there used to be, quite a number of years ago, across the street from the park, a hotel. There might be things there.
