You get wet!
I would go another day it's not worth price of admission if raining.
95 percent of the art is outside. Bring an umbrella if there is rain in the forecast. There is also a shuttle with a covered roof that drives around the property with various stops to get on and off
Probably not as much fun in the rain. Much better on a clear day as your visibility will be better for looking at the larger strictures.
Hi Joanna, Storm King is an outdoor sculpture museum, we kindly ask that visitors prepare to be outdoors, and dress appropriately for the elements. In the event the weather turns unsafe, you will be notified by staff to seek shelter. If you choose to visit in the rain, we recommend exploring our indoor galleries located in the Visitors Center. We hope to see you soon!
Don't go to Storm King if it's raining! Believe me, you're going to want to take in the scenery (as it is mostly site specific) and soak everything in-- not get soaked.
