Why is it that you close at 9 tonight, but we walk in at 8, and all the pastry, etc. is put away? If you're going to do that, just close at 8. Really? A full hour? We won't be back.

You can still order pastries any time that we’re open. The pastry case just advertises what we have. All of our pastries are sealed in plastic.

I'm not sure why they would do that but being in food service they may feel that it will keep the food fresher and that they're not going to serve that many people in the next hour but they should make the food available to you if you want it that's just my guess

Maybe you should ask yourself why you need pastries so badly at 8pm that’s you are asking for the whole building to be closed at 8 when people who work night shift actually go to Starbucks for coffee 🤣🤣🤣

or the food laws do not want restaurants selling foods after it has sat out past a certain time

I seriously doubt that a muffin that's been sitting there all day would be considerably fresher at 8, than 9. Why not leave a few things until closer to closing?
