I just stayed there this past weekend and it's to weedy for swimming but it's great fishing
Swimming in Cary Bay from Shore is not feasible if you have a bolt in or out in the main Bay yes! In North hero there is Knight Point State Park which has the beach is nice and on the other end North hero in South alburg Dunes State Park which is really nice
There is, as far as I'm aware. The bay is quite shallow at areas and full of milfoil so I'm not sure how present it would be to swim
