I hope you eventually tracked someone down. The St. paul Revival is insanely popular and packed (for good reason). I dont offer an excuse for the lack of check in, but taking some agency over your dinning experience is sometines necessary. To answer your question though, this is not normal in my experience. I've been to that Revival 3 times and have not been abandoned by my waiter. I hope you try that Revival again. Its a wonderful restaurant.
Ive been there twice and they usually follow up once after the food comes, so I'd forgive them for being busy and forgetting on occasion.
I had a negative experience waiting for a take out order and wrote the manager. Pointless, as I never heard back. Been there a number of times and have the impression they aren't very considerate of their customers (and it's part of the ethos).
No thats atypical but they seem to always be busy! Id say give them a call and ask for the manager... let them know about your experience. They have a great reputation and im sure they intend ti keep it.
their waitin service is iffy. I’ve been there multiple times and sometimes the waiter slack. One girl didn’t return to my table and got upset because we asked another waiter to help us. Plus I moved that vinegar stuff from my table because it was packed and she got pretty irritated. This day was not a busy day. I’ve also had a waiter take a smoke break but he did ask someone to cover for him. Wouldn’t have cared if he didn’t smell like cigarettes when he returned.
I would call them to tell them your problem
No not typical of them they're usually very attentive to our needs when we visit there
