I am sorry to hear your cat is sick... I use Nebel Street Animal Hospital and have for many many years. I have had 2 dogs with heart conditions, 1 with cancer and now a diabetic. I cannot say enough about the care all my doggy babies have received at Nebel Street. They are not an emergency vet, they are a regular vet and the staff is top notch. I have used Blue Pearl off Taft Street in Rockville for emergencies, and they too are excellent. I have also used Metropolitan Emergency Animal Hospital. There is a credit card company that you can use for vet bills, Care Credit. Metropolitan helped me apply for one last year when my older diabetic baby developed pancreatitis. Not sure if Blue Pearl accepts Care Credit, but it's an option. Hope all turns out well.
I take my animals to Pet Dominion in Gaithersburg and I think they're great I only check my animals to Nebel Street when it's an emergency and I'm not saying what are cat has is not an emergency but give Pet Dominion a call, they found out my dog had a heart murmur which I took him to the cardiologist and they scanned his heart and he has mild to moderate congestive heart failure he is still running around and wanting to play they have him on two medications in my opinion he's doing great. But I would definitely call them and let them know what's going on cuz I heard that cats can pass away from urinary tract infections I'm sorry I put it so bluntly but I'm just saying that because it happened to my friends cat my prayers are with you and your cat
