I don't know but if you look it up breeding bettas is very easy. Just having a large enough tank to keep the males away from each other is the key.

What kind of insanity? I'm 99.99% positive that any single employee on the store level does not set prices on fish or any other product at Dave's, or most places you shop, with rare exceptions. If you have an issue with their prices that's something you should address with the store manager or corporate HQ. To answer what i think you're asking.. as of yesterday, they do have a "breeding display" set up with one male and several females in a modified environment to showcase what customers can do if they are trying to breed.. it's a sales technique lolol. Good luck with your bettaxcichlid crossbreeds

The reason i said is matt at daves still breeding bettas is cause when he did when matt tried breeding them he couldn't and i would go in to see if his bred before my pair and the couldn't all they did was fight i would breed mine all the time that's how i would get him back for making high prices on his fighter plakat bettas he would get and i couldn't buy them so i would get my pair from pet supplies but my pair was a secret i would breed my female halfmoon plakat betta with a secret male cichlid . Like im doing now HA HA HA HA HA HA HAAAA😁😁😁😁😁

You cannot put 2 male bettas together. There is something about removing either the male or female after the breeding. Be sure to research how to breed them before spending the money.
