Just saw a huge one today while on the paddle boats. He was about 7 feet crossing right in front of us. Terrifying but Awesome!!

There's definitely alligators there. Big ones. But they forbid feeding so they should stay away from people. But always be aware, especially with little ones around the water.

they try to keep the population down but dont forget in florida that if you have a bbody of water... theres probably a gator or 2 or 3 ....

I saw two when I was there March 6th. They were hidden pretty well on the little islands. You have to actively look for them.

When I went I didn't see any. BUT the sign all say that they are there. so I would not go there thinking that they are not in the water of Mangroves
