Yes there are Gators and tons of other wildlife I've seen at least a dozen while on my canoe

There are gators everywhere in Florida.

Joshua Dean | Sep 19, 2019

Eagles nesting in the tops of trees along the bike/walking paths as well. The edges of the lake are well maintained so it's unlikely you will encounter gators on land but I guess anything is possible.

Jonathan Short | Sep 19, 2019

Yes. There are multiple warnings that alligators are in the water. Stay on the path.
