Shop around, and get your trade valued to make sure you arent leaving that on the table. I shop around an unreasonable amount and I still ended up buying from Glanzmann this year, but there were times I bought from two others and Glanzmann coukdnt compete. The market changes, people change. Be assertive.
I don't know why you feel that way. Shop, negotiate until you're satisfied; then buy. I agree with the other answers. I shopped around and feel like I got a good deal. Three of my friends felt the same way and bought their Foresters from Glanzmann. Location was a factor for me too. What good are free state inspections if you have to drive to the airport or Delco or NJ?
I did ok with my Forrester. We also factored in that Glanzmann was nearby.
