Hi there, The flag you are referring to is not the Confederate flag. It is the "Betsy Ross Flag", the first flag of the United States. Cheers!
The flag in question is commonly referred to as a "Betsy Ross" flag, often regarded as the first American flag. 13 stars and stripes. It's been in the owner's family a long time and hung from the family's barn, as can be seen in an old photo in the tasting room next to the salvaged barn wood siding. There is a resemblance to a Confederate flag with 13 stars in a circle and three very wide red/white/red stripes. THERE DEFINITELY WAS NOT, NOR HAS THERE BEEN, a confeder(sick) flag in this wonderful, family-owned business. Cheers! (First response: Perhaps you've confused Armistice, a new craft brewery run by two very nice siblings, with another business. Or, was there a banner or flag that was misidentified? When did this occur? (I have no connection with this business.))
Thanks for helping. Yes that's the one, Armistice the new brewery, and the owners are super nice and friendly. But they did put up a flag not long ago - it wasn't there when they first open. Which is why I'm asking, I just don't see them representing this flag
