Well this store did just that gave prescription to someone other than the person and now hey have to wait until the next refill date no permission was given to allow this other person to pick up the controlled substance prescription but it was given

I do truly apologize to hear that somebody picked up your prescription The only way that they can do that is if they're on your list of people people who are able to pick up your medication for you and when it comes to controlled substances whoever picked up your meds would have to have showed their ID and know your personal information so whoever it was that picked up your meds that walgreens should be able to provide you with the person who pick up your meds hopefully this helps they should have called to make sure whoever came in was clear to pick up your meds
