Yeah, they don't seem to mind if you are in the water at anytime, day or night

You can jump into the water anywhere along the river and then there's a peninsula portion with sand. You can go out 50'(feet) plus and only get into 3-4' (feet) of water as of September 2020.

There's a long beach with nice sand. You probably shouldn't go too far out into the water because fast boats come screaming through and there's not a specific protected area for swimming but afaik you're allowed to go into the water.
