Great place to stay before returning our RV in San Francisco. Only one hour drive to the bay area. Clean and neat. Lyra was very friendly although wie arrived without Booking in advance.

My wife and I loved it here. It was so peaceful and relaxing.

Pam and Lyra were great hosts. They were able to find a way to allow us to stay in the same site for the whole two weeks we were visiting my dad in Modesto. Thanks fir everything.

This was one of the most frustrating stays in our two years as Thousand Trails Camping Pass holders. Check-in was very disappointing and a total lack of customer care/service. Upon arrival, nobody was at the office (couldn’t access anyway due to rebuild of entrance access to the office). Upon contacting someone via call box, we were told they would open the gate to enter and then park inside the gate until we could be led to a site. Person could see us from their trailer. This person told me they were “on lunch break” and would come help us in 20 minutes. This is EXTREMELY poor customer service! The outside temperature was 100+ degrees, and we’ve been told to wait in our truck until the employee’s lunch break was finished? We then watched the employee come out of her trailer, move her watering hose around in the yard, then go back into the trailer. After approximately 20 minutes they did lead us to our spot. When I asked if there was a specific check-in time I was unaware of, I was told no, that they were just under staffed. For her to lead us to our site took all of 15 minutes. She could have led us to our site and went back to finish lunch. This customer service is totally unacceptable. RV park, overall is small and has virtually no amenities. Very small restrooms/showers, no pool, virtually only a place to park your rig. Also had no sewer, only water and electricity. Highly recommend to find another RV park before this one.

If you can get a spot that offers power.
Accurate
Yeah, they don't seem to mind if you are in the water at anytime, day or night
I would love to become a member
There are so many beautiful places to stay then there, try Thousand Trails Santa Rosa, Russian River, you won't get eaten by mosquitoes and ants there like in Turtle beach
Yes great quiet place very close to major freeways. There are real showers and restrooms to use, a small rec room has Tv and, pool table. Costco, and walmart close by. I highly recommend.
No they don't if you need to send you need to bring your own
You will have to call them to find out.
I've never seen one. Lots of bugs
Rv sites don't have fire pit but you can bring your own
You have to pay a yearly membership. They do monthly spots for a few months. You can get yearly spot, however you can physically stay in the spot for a certain amount of days.
I would recommend calling but I'm sure you'll be fine. They had a few tent spaces on labor day open. I definitely recommend calling them though.
You may register through their website. Link is given below for your convenience. https://reservations.rvonthego.com/register.aspx?rp=/california/turtle-beach-rv-resort/
The majority are water and electric only but they do have some w/full hookups
Yes it is very nice for swimming in the river. Current can be strong. Was there last August, check with the camp ranger for current conditions
No the water is high we just closed the flood gate a couple days ago for the neabor hood turtle beach there still letting people in i believe but everyone is ready to leave if they have to
I HAVE READ THE SAME QUESTION AND TO NO AVAIL AM WAITING FOR AN ANSWER!! HOW MIUCH DOES THIS COST!!!!
I saw lots of rv space for annual rent. Im not sure about monthly but it seemed quite flexible. You should contact them to ask about it.
I've seen fish jumping. But never a nibble. If I was a fish I wouldn't want to even hang out there. To much chaos
I dont think so and you have to have a rv
They have showers a beach no to everything else
Yes you can park in a regular RV spot
You have to be a TT Member to stay extended stay or be a Annual leased site holder. TT Member $565 1 yr. Membership Leased Site $5600 @ contract signing. 180 occupiable days. Also have to be a member of TT. EXT. STAY TT member $818 a mo. 3 mo. Longest stay.
Check out is noon, I believe check in is 2 but they are lenient.
People were there on the weekend fishing from the bank.
Yes
They had a member rate and a general day use rate, I think it was around $15
They are a Thousand Trails park and they have some annual sites.
They are open now give them a call
Around the park, yes. Not outside the park because of narrow roads and a lot of traffic.not recommended lets say.
