Went in early July 2018, not crowded, good time to go. Obviously this July 26 it will be crowded for Jeter induction.

Went in February, most of the town was closed, but the Hall was open and it was empty. We got to enjoy it all with no crowds.

Thanks for your note Lorraine! Columbus Day Weekend is an ideal time to visit the Hall of Fame, as the temperatures are usually mild, the leaves are changing color and you can tour the Museum at a relaxed pace. We hope to see you soon in Cooperstown!

Went in January and wasn't very busy. It was great because you could take your time and see everything.

If you just want to see the museum, then anytime before summer or in the fall would be fine without the crowds, however there is much more to see in Cooperstown, so the warmer months would be best for that.

June and July the town is bustling. You'll have some little Leaguers in town for their Cooperstown tournament every week in the summer. But it's never over crowded except for Hall of Fame week.
