Visited with relatives who rented a pontoon boat for a few hours touring the lake. Professional staff who got us on the boat and underway quickly and safely. Great weather for a picnic on the lake. Return was quick as well. Excellent experience in every way.

If you’re hoping to rent a kayak for a lovely ride, stay away from this place! What an unprofessional business with a poor selection of kayaks. The kids working there renting kayaks knew nothing about kayaks— and moreover, didn’t care. It was a windy day and the first kayak I tried, a sit-on-top, began taking on water immediately. (There were no scupper holes) After emptying it once, I brought it back and changed to another sit-on-top they told me was a new model they had just gotten in. It was flat and wide, there were no foot braces, and it was almost impossible to paddle in the wind. Actually, it was too hard for me to paddle. After 30 minutes of trying as hard as I could and going nowhere, my friend and I had to exchange kayaks. He was much stronger that me and, using all his strength, was able to paddle it back. A truly disappointing and frustrating experience. And I even needed to pay for it!! What a waste!

Very disappointed! Misleading/Bad Business- Arranged a fishing trip on Otsego Lake with family members from out of town and called 2 weeks in advanced for booking a reservation and information. Asked about getting information on specific area to fish on Otsego Lake and as we are from out of town and were told that when we arrive someone would show us on a map, the hot areas for fishing for bass, trout and walleye. When we arrived no one knew anything about fishing and were told "sorry" just go out on the lake fish that west shore. Needless to say we did not catch any fish and ended out trip early. The attendant did give us a 2 hour refund however it was a wasted trip and disappointing time. Please don't mislead your customer to take their money!! Customer satisfaction in always number one. Next time we will hire a guide for the same price!!
