I just recently used U-Haul. I got a 10 foot truck with no insurance option. I traveled about 40 miles or so and only needed it for a single day. Total cost when returning it was $61. I also needed to add $10 in gas to bring the tank back up to 5/8 when i got it or they will charge you $4 a gallon if they have to refill the truck so put the gas back you used. Hope this helps on your price concerns.
The prices depend on the location you're traveling to. The sizes are 8ft, 10ft, and larger if needed. That's what I know for sure.
