I have a student at the school I am a social worker and she will not be 18 til may. She is struggling to get her family to take her to get on medication that she needs for depression and anxiety. Is there any way she can start seeing someone there

Chances are, not without parent or guardian consent. As a minor she would need them to fill out and sign paperwork giving permission to treat. If parents will fill put consent paperwork she may be able to go on her own or with someone from the school. The best suggestion is to call Valeo and ask. Also she may want to check with her primary because sometimes they may be willing to prescribe low dose psych meds.
