Only by selected permit by staff. You must call and make an appointment to speak with staff to get the appropriate paper work. I did my engagement photos there, so it can happen.
Call ahead to make arrangements. I'm sure they would be accommodated if they knew that you wouldn't be disruptive. Also you can ask them to make sure it doesn't conflict with any other events
I doubt it, it would be a lovely venue for photos but a large party might be disruptive...But you could call...
