If you are interested in trying out a solo jump to see if you like the sport or not, you can start with level 1 of the AFF program! It is a 6-8 hour ground course and your first jump. If you want to become licensed, the entire program consists of 25 jumps, ground courses and additional membership and license fees. You must take the Accelerated Free-Fall (AFF) course to jump by yourself. It consists of ground school and then 8 jumps with classes between each jump. These 8 jumps are accompanied by any instructor. The instructor is not attached to you during the jump. You will get to land your own parachute. It is totally worth it!
