Petsmart has some really good calming pills that are natural and wont harm ur pet and keep ur doggy indoors preferably with the tele on or music so they dont hear all the fireworks
I put mine on my lap and stroke her gently from head to tail while watching the fireworks. I tell her gently "it's okay baby" repeatedly. She seemed to do well with it. Don't over expose your dog (10 to 15 minutes at a time). I laid the larger dog next to me and did the same with him. He was fine with it but this is his fourth 4th of July.
