Hello, this store is only open to Disney employees, and their guests. Currently the employee/spouse presents and scans their ID, at which point they (and guests, if any) are allowed in. There have been times where an employee can get people in without being there, but does not happen often. The building itself has a discount merchandise part and an additional store that is employees only. Won't even get started on property control. There have been other discount stores featuring park merchandise in the past, don't know if any exist right now, but look online, may find one. Last thing, this store operates because they are getting rid of excess merchandise, so sometimes you find cool stuff, but not always, there is a ton of random stuff that you probably would never want. So, don't feel like you are missing out on something.
In Company D, yes and no, it is mainly for cast members but they are allowed to bring in guests who they would have to stay with the entire time, however every so often they are given vouchers which allow anyone they choose to shop without need of the cast member. There is a warehouse on the same property called Property Control which basically sells stuff like park merchandise that's defective in some way, furniture, costume fabric, and sometimes park-used Christmas and Halloween decorations, that shop is strictly for cast members only
The only time you can go without a disney employee is when they have this pass that they can get around November. But also it mostly random items that you can buy. When I went they had what was left of some Halloween items but also random statues and they had the haunted mansion pins for half off the price but if u want to get something from the employee side store then yes you need a cast employee to buy it for you.
Must have an invite from a cast member.
Must have a special invite/pass only handed out to cast members. They are transferable though.
