It is mostly thier own brands. Everything we have tried has been really good. Thier prices are great. Just be sure to always check the dates on anything fresh. We were at our local Aldi, and the ham expired 3 days ago.
They have a lot of their own non brand stuff. Which gets the prices down a lot! And the quality of their own stuff is really good. A lot of it is imported from Germany where the company is from or local California stuff. So far I only had good experience with their produce.
They mostly have their house brands, which are the same as national brands just labeled differently. Fresh item quality is good, but the expiration or best by dates are likely sooner than national chain groceries.

They have their own brands and local as well, the fruits and vegetables are always fresh, great prices, some of them better than other markets, just make sure to check expiration dates, enjoy!!!
