Do you have to have a dive flag to snorkel or just for scuba? If so can you rent them at the park?

Dive flag is needed for scuba diving because you are totally submerged & not visible to boaters in nearby boating lanes. Snorkelers are more visible because they are not always totally submerged, as such a flag is not required
