In order to get a library card you must be a Broward County Resident, go to school in Broward or work in Broward. If these do not apply to you, you can get an ecard which gives you access to our online resources.

Yes. Anyone who lives, works or goes to school in Broward County. Just bring your ID along with proof of address, such as a bill, lease agreement, voter's registration, etc. If you work in Broward bring a current pay stub )it has to have a Broward address. If going to school in Broward, bring registration. If none of these apply you can get an e-card for free or a computer card for $2. We also have a non-resident library card you can purchase for $50, but it's only good for a year.
