Hi Linda, in cooperation with Martin County Animal Control, we are the only organization in Martin County to offer TNVR (Trap - Neuter - Vaccinate - Release) to our community. When feral cats are picked up by Animal Control and brought to our shelter, our clinic neuters and vaccinates them. Our veterinarian even evaluates them to make sure they're healthy! We put a notch on their right ear tip to indicate to Animal Control that the cat has been neutered and vaccinated already. Once these cats have recovered, Animal Control safely returns the cats to their outdoor colonies. For more information about Community TNVR please visit our website at www.hstc1.org/community-tnvr. If you have additional questions, please call us directly at (772) 223-8822.
