Is the space shuttle Atlantis in Kennedy space center or just in the vicinity? It says it's free, but I'm confused if it's part of the center and if there's admission

It is free with your admission to the space center. The ride and IMax film are also free with admission.

It's part of the Kennedy space center, all is inclused, except the meals and beverages.
