I have received my title to my car and need to have lien holder name removed I have paid my car off do I need to go to into DMV or can I just call.

Just call or stop in. Extremely fast to walk in the past few times ive gone into dmv.

If the lien holder is still on the title I would go ahead and stop by the DMV that way they can go ahead and remove it at that point, and give you an updated one.
