This is true but; the VA also has a contract with CHOMP if a medical emergency happens while you at the clinic.

Only walk-ins if you can wait. Go to your local ER if necessary and let them know you are a veteran.

There is not an urgent care, from what I know. I believe the closest urgent care/e.r. for veterans is Palo Alto
